The Stars of Twilight

Hard at work on the set of “Burlesque” Christina Aguilera and Cam Gigandet were spotted shooting scenes on Sunday (January 10).

Covered in a pink scarf and shades, the “Genie In a Bottle” singer hopped on the back of a motorcycle driven by the “Twilight” hunk, knocking out scene after scene on the Los Angeles, CA set.

According to imdb’s website, “Burlesque” is due to hit theatres on November 24th and involves a small-town girl who ventures to L.A. and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer.

Aguilera takes on a role of a woman named Ali while Gigandet plays a man named Jack. Other big names set to star in the film are Kristen Bell, Eric Dane, Julianne Hough and Cher.

With all the time and effort he put into beefing up for 'New Moon' -- plus the acclaim he's received, the endless drooling he's enjoying and the affections of Taylor Swift -- you can't blame Taylor Lautner for being attached not to one, but two upcoming action flicks.


Per the Hollywood Reporter, Lautner will star in 'Cancun,' about a quirky college student who travels with a girl down Mexico way and discovers he must put his martial-arts skills to the test when a drug cartel kidnaps the gal and her friends.

The announcement of Lautner's tie to 'Cancun' follows the revelation that he'll bring 'Max Steel,' based on the popular Mattel toy, to the big screen. 'Cancun,' however, is presumably more of a personal project: It will be spearheaded by the production company the soon-to-be-18-year-old actor has formed with his father, Dan Lautner. A script has been inked by Eric Champnella and Grant Thompson, and the Lautners will collaborate with two 'New Moon' producers, Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen, to bring the film across the finish line.
Still, though it's natural to want to capitalize on Lautner's catapulting to international fame, he's at a tender moment in his career. This could be the moment for the charismatic young actor to demonstrate his versatility and range, not to pigeonhole himself in one particular genre. True, 'Cancun' sounds as if it'll play to Lautner's strengths -- martial-arts has been his calling card for years. But is this also a moment in which the actor could really branch out?

Umm....WTH! Lol! I'm kind of speechless right now, so refresh after the beep.............(BEEP!!!) Rob is going to be in an animated movie with Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, not to mention this movie is about a Rudolp and an Abominable Snowman and its written by Stephanie Meyer.

Somehow my brain isn't wrapping around this. It's to wierd. What do you all think about it? Please, Please leave a comment, because I'm dying to know what the other fans think of this project.

'Twilight' author Stephenie Meyer brings a new twist to the immortal tale of Rudolf. With his crimson beak precluding him from joining in any reindeer games, Rudolf (voiced by Taylor Lautner) lives in self-imposed exile from Christmastown, a muscle-bound loner roaming the barren tundra of the North Pole and surviving only by scavenging the remains of the Abominable Snowman's latest victims.


When Rudolf discovers His Abominableness dead and drained of all his blood one morning, he soon learns that a horde of vampires is planning a deadly assault on Santa's Village. With charismatic young adventurer Yukon Cornelius (Robert Pattinson, naturally), a female dentist (Kristen Stewart) adept at removing vamp fangs, and a bevy of wisecracking Misfit Toys at his side, Rudolf races back to Christmastown with the one weapon better than sunlight for making those bloodsucking bastards burn in Hell: his radiantly glowing nose.



Suggested Tagline: "Rudolf with your nose so bright, won't you slay some vampires tonight?"

Back in the mid-90s, the three stars were struggling actors who’d appeared in a decent number of feature films, but felt like they weren’t being offered the right kinds of roles by Hollywood. Mix in Matt and Ben’s screenplay for “Good Will Hunting,” an Oscar for Best Screenwriting, and the rest is history. Billy Bob Thornton followed a similar path with “Sling Blade.”
