I wanted to round up some charities for you all just in case you wanted to help and show your support.

Starting with the actors:

Plus, if you are on twitter you can show your support by adding a twibbon to your avator by going to http://twibbon.com/join/Alexs-Lemonade-2.

Kellan Lutz - Boys & Girls Club
“Showing some love to kids, giving them a birthday and telling them that God loves you and it’s OK to have fun and smile. To give them a stuffed animal and watch them be happy. We have so much opportunity, in the end, to make a difference out there.” -Kellan Lutz-
I urge you to look at the Boys & Girls Club of America by visiting http://www.bgca.com. One dollar can make all the difference in the world.

Christian Serratos - PETA
Help support animals all over the world by donating or volunteering at http://www.PETA.org. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), with more than 2.0 million members and supporters, is the largest animal rights organization in the world.

PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs.

Jackson Rathbone - The Spencer Bell Memorial
On Dec. 3, 2006 Specner Bells life was taken by a disease called Adrenal Cancer. This cancer strikes one-in-a-million and it just happened to take this one-in-a-million angel. He had a full life ahead of him and it was taken away to early. It could happen to any one of us at any given tim so please help to raise awareness and money for the University of Michigan's Multidisciplinary Adrenal Cancer Clinic by going to http://www.spencerbellmemorial.com.

Ashley Greene - Donate A Dress
This is the first national network to bring together local dress drive organizations across the U.S., they help you find one in your area so that once you've had your dream night, you can give another girl hers!

Most of us have had our special night and we wouldn't trade it for the world and I can't think of a better way to make another girl feel like Cinderella than to help her find her perfect dress. She can find her knight and shinning armor on her own but only after she gets her beautiful dress, so got to http://www.donatemydress.org and see how you can help.

Robert Pattinson - American Foundation For AIDS Research
Founded in 1985, amfAR is dedicated to ending the global AIDS epidemic through innovative research. With the freedom and flexibility to respond quickly to emerging areas of scientific promise, amfAR plays a catalytic role in accelerating the pace of HIV/AIDS research and achieving real breakthroughs. amfAR-funded research has increased our understanding of HIV and has helped lay the groundwork for major advances in the study and treatment of HIV/AIDS. Since 1985, amfAR has invested nearly $290 million in its mission and has awarded grants to more than 2,000 research teams worldwide.

Help raise awareness of AIDS/HIV around the world by going to http://www.amfAR.org and let's help fight these diseases and make the world a better and happier place.

Michael Welch - Kids With A Cause
Kids With A Cause is a youth based non-profit organization founded in 1999. We create unique hands-on programs that brighten the lives of less fortunate children and teens. These enriching experiences empower youth, form lasting and heartfelt memories and reinforce the importance of lending a helping hand.

I encourage you to contribute to the cause and enhance the lives of children who, through no fault of their own, suffer from poverty, illness, abandonment, neglect or abuse. By lending a helping hand, you can also help Kids With A Cause provide assistance to children whose lives have been shattered by a natural disaster. Please help them, help others and bring hope and happiness to children who deserve to smile by going to http://www.kidswithacause.org.

Taylor Lautner - St. Jude Chilren's Hospital
St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. With research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly.

This makes me cry everytime I think about it. If I could donate even half of what I make to this organization I would. To think about the children and the families that have to suffer through cancer breaks my heart. If you can, please donate a little bit and help a child and thier family by going to http://www.stjude.org .

Rachelle Lefevre - Susan G. Komen For The Cure
Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.

The rate of death for black women (including Hispanic), though, mortality increased somewhat over the same period, rising from 30 per 100,000 black women in 1975 to 33 per 100,000 in 2005. I have cancer in my family and this is another charity that is dear to my heart. You can donate at http://www.komen.org

Billy Burke - VH1 Save The Music
The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in American public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education. Since 1997, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation has provided $43 million worth of new musical instruments to more than 1,600 public schools in more than 100 cities around the country, impacting the lives of more than 1.2 million public school students.

Yet another one! This is another organization that is very close to my heart. I live, breathe, and bleed music. I can't go a second muchless a day without music. Visit http://www.vh1savethemusic.com and try to donate if its close to your heart too.

A few personal charities

Christopher Reeves Foundation
The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.

This hits home more than most would think because as of 2007 I am in a chair as a paraplegic. I urge everyone to donate to this organization if you possibly can. It helps thousands every year and we all appreciate it more than you know. We take walking for granted everyday and to be sentanced to it for life....is pure hell. I'm sorry for the langage but thats the only way to describe it. You can get more info or donate go to http://www.christopherreeve.org

Michael J. Fox Foudation For Parkinson's Research
Everyone knows about Michael J. Fox and his struggle with Parkinson's but most don't know about the other 50,000 Americans who are diagnosed every year. Statistics indicate that this condition seems to affect men at a slightly higher rate than women, and it appears to affect whites more than African Americans or Asians. However, it is likely that everyone has a similar probability of developing Parkinson's disease.

Most people don't think things like this could ever happen to them but what happens if your wrong? Help raise awareness and try to donate if you can. It may seem like a small thing to donate a little money but it makes a huge difference in the end. If you want more info or want to help go to http://www.michaeljfox.org
Heart Health

Support our troops
Want a positive way to support our troops? You can go to http://www.supportourtroops.org and help the men and women over seas.

Some of you may not agree with the war and yes, they did sign up to defend our country but without them we wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully in our beds every single night. The things they go through over there are horrible and it affects them mentaly and physically. So if you can support them they will greatfully appreciate it. Anything comes in handy. Even the smallest things we take for granted. For instance, we take batteries for granted but they need them for flashlight, gps, etc. So if anything, go to walmart or the dollar store and buy a 9 pack of AA if you can't think of anything else.
