JustJared posted a few pictures of Kellan on the Set of his new movie ‘Immortals‘ in which he plays Greek god Poseidon, lord of the sea.

Thank you KLO!

I wish I had a trainner that looked like Kellan...I totally wouldm't miss a workout. Lol!
*Ashley*

Kellan Lutz's abs epiphany came during an eighth-grade graduation party at a water park. "Before then, I never knew abs were attractive," he says. "Where I grew up in Arizona, you would never see anyone without a shirt on at school. But when I took off my shirt, all the girls were, like, 'Oh, look at your abs!' And I was, like, 'Yeah!'"

Psychologists call this "positive reinforcement." And Lutz instinctively knew what to do: Stay active.

It's understandable to be ticked off by Lutz's looks, which are great despite the deathly pallor of his vampire character in the Twilight flicks. Men resent other men who are that good-looking and that fit. It seems too easy.

But it wasn't. The 25-year-old's advantage was an early love of athletics, but he's had to put in constant effort to maintain his physique. He played football in high school (plus trombone in the marching band—a hell of a timemanagement trick), hit the gym regularly for years, and considered becoming a Navy SEAL. One of the reasons he attended Chapman University was its location—near the beach.

If only we'd made fitness part of our lifestyle as kids, then ... But there's no reason we can't start now.

Hell, Lutz's workout regimen had been an unfocused mishmash for years--until he filmed the HBO series Generation Kill in 2007. How do a bunch of guys stuck in the African desert kill time for 7 months? They do exactly what you and your friends should do: challenge one another. In Lutz's case, that involved pushup and situp contests and lifting weights in a makeshift gym. One fellow actor, a former pole vaulter named Rich McDonald, offered Lutz some helpful tips; now they're regular training buddies.

To stay in shape after The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Lutz starts every workout with 5 minutes of cardio and follows it up with core work. "Activating the core maximizes muscle utilization in every other exercise," McDonald says. Translation: Core work makes your body ready to rock. After a few sets of powerful full-body movements, Lutz and McDonald do simpler exercises that target specific muscles, letting their bodies recover a bit before another blast of energy and muscle-fiber recruitment.

When exhaustion compromises Lutz's form, McDonald has him back off—even if Lutz wants to continue. It's more important that he do things right. Otherwise he'll risk hurting himself.

The workouts don't end when Lutz leaves the gym. While it's impossible to stay perfectly faithful to a routine, it's easier to stay active when fitness blends naturally into your day. That's why Lutz hikes, and swims in his backyard pool with his shepherd husky, Kola. He even does lunges while he's out walking Kola.

Food used to be a problem, though: Good eating habits weren't something Lutz had an early start on. He was one of eight kids raised by a divorced mother. "With a big family and not a lot of money, we ate whatever we got," he says. Years later he could still eat 10 Taco Bell tacos in one sitting. "By the time I got to the eighth one, I'd feel so sick."

No longer. Now Lutz eats small meals every 2 to 3 hours, and he never skips breakfast. Because of that, he's energetic all day. And he's never too hungry, so he's less prone to overeat. To keep his metabolism humming overnight, Lutz downs a hard-boiled egg before bed.

The dividends are as much mental as physical. Fitness teaches him to channel his energy. Just before we spoke, Lutz had been dealing with two flat tires and was pretty annoyed. "I'm not usually a down person, so when something like that happens, I go to the gym and run it off—work out, make my blood pump."

LUTZ'S TIPS FOR WORKING OUT HARDER, FASTER

Follow these rules to enhance your workout.

Buddy Up The benefits of working with a trainer far outlast those of solo sessions. "It's great to have someone to push you and hold you accountable," says Lutz.

Create a Game Bored with a routine? Here's a game Lutz plays: Spread out a deck of cards, pick a card, and guess its color. If you're right, your partner must do the number of pushups displayed on the card. If you're wrong, do double that number in crunches. Go through the deck and you'll both do about a combined 300 crunches and pushups.

Lay Off the Abs When Lutz first began exercising in high school, he'd do crunches for hours every day. Wrong move: Those muscles need time to recover. "I saw much better results when I hit my abs harder and less frequently," he says.

Grow Proportionally Lutz used to focus on his chest and arms, and ignored his skinny legs--but that made him awkward and out of balance. "You can't just build a huge chest and arms. You need to work out your body evenly," he says. "Otherwise, A, you'll look weird, and B, it's not the best for your body."

Go on to the next page for Lutz's full-body blast workout.

KELLAN'S FULL-BODY BLAST

Complete a set of each exercise in succession. Rest, drink some water, and repeat. Build up to three circuits as your strength and stamina increase.

Reverse Crunch (20 Reps)

V-UP (20 Reps)

Barbell Front Squat to Push Press(12 Reps)

Pushup (12 Reps)

Incline dumbbell press (12 Reps)

Explosive pushup (12 Reps)

While Ashley is on the cover of the latest issue of Women’s Health, Kellan graces the cover of Men’s Health. Both covers are for the July/August issues of the magazines, and both Ashley and Kellan look fantastic!

From Women’s Health:

Never has the un-dead been so sexy. But Greene says she’s not like most women in Hollywood anyway. “I don’t want a child’s body,” she says of the drive to be thin. “I want a woman’s body that is extremely fit. It’s so much sexier. “

Another thing 23-year-old Greene is certain of: her type of man. “I love a pretty boy with an edge, ” she tells Woman’s Health. “Someone who has blue eyes, who has mystery, and who’s a little brooding.”

From Men’s Health:

Kellan Lutz’s abs epiphany came during an eighth-grade graduation party at a water park. “Before then, I never knew abs were attractive,” he says. “Where I grew up in Arizona, you would never see anyone without a shirt on at school. But when I took off my shirt, all the girls were, like, ‘Oh, look at your abs!’ And I was, like, ‘Yeah!’ “

OMG YAY!!!!!! Bout time Summit learned their lesson, you DO NOT mess with the twilight fans, how many times to we gave to go over this?

Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz have closed deals to reup their roles in the next Twilight movie, "Breaking Dawn."

Greene and Lutz signed contracts last nights, acccording to sources close to the deal.

Movie studio Summit Entertainment, which has made billions off the franchise, had been in negotiations with the two supporting characters since last week, but the two actors reportedly wanted pay increases for the next movie since the studio did not allow them to renegotiate on the second and third films.

Summit caved in after the two actors held out for more cash. "The studio realized how valuable Ashley and Kellan are to the franchise and did what they needed to do to keep them," said a source close to the situation.

Reports said the kids have been trying to score paydays of $1.5 million. Sources said they two will receive close to that amount to continue on in their roles. "It was a good deal," said the source.

The money is still much lower than what Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are supposedly pulling in.

"Breaking Dawn" will be the fourth and fifth movies of the Twilight franchises.

If and I repeat, "IF" this article and the figures are true, than the whole cast should've recieved a pay raise. Like I said the other day, Robert, Kristen, and Taylor are NOT the only actors in this movie. If it wasn't for ALL of the cast members in the saga there wouldn't be a 'New Moon' or an 'Eclipse', muchless a 'Breaking Dawn', and like I said the other day, I won't be going to see 'Breaking Dawn' if they recast. I've heard from alot of my followers that claim they won't be atteneding the movie either, so if Summit Entertainment wants to f*** up and get ride of the fans, by golly let them. They'll be so far in the crapper they won't be able to see through it all sh*t. Half of the fanbase is made up of people in between the 18-45 age range, the other half are 10-18 age ranges...their fanbase won't exsist if they got rid of the older crowd.

*Ashley*

-------------------------------------------

We've got new details in that "Twilight" salary standoff.
As we first reported Monday, the actors who play the vampire Cullen kids (Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene) have rejected Summit Entertainment's offer to return for a fourth and fifth movie, thus holding up the studio's plan to send teenage girls into fits of euphoria by announcing that "Breaking Dawn" will be split into two installments.

Nicole Sperling at EW says they are demanding $4 million for each of the two "Breaking Dawns," but our sources close to the dealmaking say that number is high, and that reps for Lutz and Greene are asking for less than $2 million for each movie (for a total of about $4 million for both).

The negotiation is just kicking into high gear, so these numbers could change; Sperling says co-star Nikki Reed has settled for a payday in the $750,000-$1 million range for each movie.

What are the secondary characters in a blockbuster franchise worth? That's always a tricky question, and especially here, where fans have such a close connection to the material and have come to associate the actors with their parts. On the other hand, "Eclipse" probably won't suffer at the boxoffice in June despite Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) being recast after playing hardball.

A couple of interesting wrinkles in the negotiation: While lead actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all re-did their deals for huge raises after the first "Twilight" hit big (and are said to be close to deals for No. 4 and 5), Summit did not offer to renegotiate with the Cullens. So their pay for the first three movies has been very low, which would explain them wanting to cash in on "Breaking Dawn."

Also, while the Cullen kids don't play a huge role in the second or third books, they're both in "Breaking Dawn" a lot more.

That fact is said to be fueling the demands, though Summit won't lock the script for the final movies until it's a 100% done deal there will be two, so parts could still be minimized or beefed up.

Neither side expects a speedy resolution. Summit wants to move quickly but isn't afraid to recast.

Reps for the actors want to make a deal but don't understand why the studio won't take care of the cast in a franchise that has generated more than $1 billion.

While fans might miss the secondary characters, we doubt Summit's boxoffice take would suffer if the Cullens are recast. Would it?

With all of the money that is coming in from the CRAP (shirts, jewelry, poster, etc.) that Summit Entertainment is selling along with the books and the movies, there is PLENTY of money coming in to pay Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene for the time they spend of those sets.

Dear Summit Entertainment,

Do you remember what it was like before The Twilight Saga came around? Don't you remember, you were going bankrupt. Now, if I'm not mistaken, the saga got you out of a HUGE screw up, am I right? (I think I am) Now, Get your head out of your ass and pay them what they deserve! If it means paying them 10 times the amount they made in Twilight, than so be it. If you recast these roles I will NOT watch Breaking Dawn. Robert, Kristen, and Taylor are not the only actors in this movie, the entire cast makes up a whole and after your little ordeal with Rachelle, you would think, would've taught you a lesson. If you get rid of Kellan and Ashley, you WILL lose ALOT of fans, myself included. That goes for all movies involving the "Summit Entertainment logo".

-------------------------------------------

EXCLUSIVE: Summit Entertainment is working furiously to close the talent deals required to split Stephenie Meyer's fourth "Twilight" novel into two films. But an unlikely roadblock is holding up an announcement -- and could even lead to cast changes for the series' final installment.
The studio is close to finalizing agreements with leads Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, all of whom will get big raises to return for a fifth installment of the vampire romance saga. And director Bill Condon is already signed to film two "Breaking Dawn" movies, which would be shot back-to-back starting in the fall and released in November 2011 and summer 2012, respectively.
But Summit is having a harder time locking in some of the franchise's secondary characters. Deals for Peter Facinelli (who plays Carlisle Cullen) and Billy Burke (Bella's father, Charlie Swan) are done, but we're told the actors who play the Cullen kids (especially Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene) are trying to sink their teeth into bigger paydays that, at least at this point, the studio behind the billion-dollar franchise is unwilling to provide. "We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point," says a source close to the dealmaking.
So are we headed for a recasting on the final "Twilight"?
There is precedent for such a tactic. After the success of the first film, Summit axed Rachelle Lefevre, who played Victoria, in part because her reps played hardball on money and scheduling. (Bryce Dallas Howard got the job instead.) Now, two films into the series, even the minor Twilighters (Lutz in particular) have become sought-after stars, so it makes sense they'd want to be paid more for the final film. But we're told that the offers from Summit -- which are said to be at least 10 times what the actors made on the first movie -- were deemed "offensive" given the mega-money the franchise has generated.
Summit declined to comment on the situation. But the studio wants to move quickly to pull the trigger on the two movies -- which it won't until the talent deals are further along -- and it isn't afraid to recast if agreements can't be reached. Plus, it has even more reason to be concerned about costs this time around. As is typical with blockbuster franchises, the "Twilight" movies are becoming more expensive with each installment. The leads are going to fare especially well if "Breaking Dawn" is split into two parts. The trio were initially signed for three films (remember, this was back when "Twilight" was a low-budget adaptation of a niche YA novel), but in the spring of 2009 -- after the first movie became an international hit -- they renegotiated all their deals so Summit could lock them for a fourth movie.
The studio then realized that "Breaking Dawn," with its 900-plus pages and narratives told from two perspectives, was dense enough to be split into two installments (as Warner Bros. announced it would do for the final "Harry Potter" book). Just one problem: The cast wasn't signed for a fifth movie. They're all huge stars now, with Lautner in particular running up his quote to the $7.5 million range, so another renegotiation commenced.
That meant ponying up big-time for the leads, which would make the final movie more expensive than the others ("Eclipse," which hits theaters June 30, is costing around $65 million, a figure sure to be dwarfed by the fourth and fifth, even if costs can be amortized by shooting them at the same time). Summit is still holding out the option of simply doing one "Breaking Dawn," although multiple sources say they'd be shocked if the fifth film doesn't happen. "This thing is gonna be two movies," one source says. "With or without the cast intact." Meyer has already signed off on the plan to make two — a key hurdle, given the approval rights she has in her deal.
Summit also is eyeing another cost-cutting measure for the final installments. A deal is currently being negotiated to move the production to Louisiana (the first was shot in Portland and the second two in Vancouver and Italy). Luring "Twilight" would be a huge "get" for the state -- and, given the tax credits, a money-saver for the studio.
"Twilight" has thus far been the rare tentpole franchise made on a non-tentpole budget. It'll be interesting to see the lengths that Summit will go to to keep it there. Booting an actor from the final installment of a successful series could be a risky move, though we're betting that as long as their precious Bella, Edward and Jacob return, fans would get over any disappointment pretty quickly.

Kellan Lutz Joins 'War Of The Gods'

Kellan definately deserves to ve in this. 1) He's a great actor, 2) He DEFINATELY has the abs for it, and 3) He's gorgeous!
I don't really care for Mickey Rourke though.
Can't wait for this to come out! Yay! Hahaha!

~Ashley

P.S. Leave a comment!

------------------------------------------

He will star as Poseidon alongside Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto.

"Twilight" actor Kellan Lutz is the newest recruit in "War of the Gods," the upcoming Greek mythology epic from director Tarsem Singh ("The Fall").

Lutz has earned the role of Poseidon, the Greek god that rules over the seas, according to Variety. He joins an impressive cast list that includes Henry Cavill ("The Tudors") as the heroic Theseus, Mickey Rourke ("Iron Man 2") as the ruthless King Hyperion and Freida Pinto ("Slumdog Millionaire") as Phaedra, an oracle priestess.

"War of the Gods" is a swords-and-sandals epic centered on mortal soldiers caught in a war between the eternal Greek gods and the evil Titans, with the fate of mankind hanging in the balance. Production is scheduled to begin in April based on a screenplay written by Jason Keller.

Lutz is no stranger to fantasy fare, thanks to his beloved "Twilight" role of Emmett Cullen, one of the many foster siblings of Robert Pattinson's character. The actor was also a reported leading contender for the title role in director Marcus Nispel's "Conan," though he ultimately lost the part to Jason Momoa ("Stargate: Atlantis"). Lutz will next be seen in the upcoming "Nightmare on Elm Street" revival.

"War of the Gods" is the latest in a string of movies dealing with Greek mythology. Director Chris Columbus' "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" debuted in February to positive reviews and solid box-office success, while Louis Leterrier's "Clash of the Titans" remake will land in both regular and 3-D theaters on April 2.
